Snow

I spent the weekend in Moruya - it's so much warmer there than it is at home.

Because it's been raining so much, I was worried that the roads might have been flooded but I got through ok.   Just out of Goulburn the rain became very heavy, falling horizontally but then it got whiter and whiter, and I was driving through a snow storm.   I've never driven through snow before, and it was so amazing watching the snowflakes flying like I was driving through a tunnell.   I tried to take a photo, through the windscreen of the car...

Not the best indication of what I was driving through...  oh well.

"Coffee"

I like to go for a "coffee" with the girls when I visit my granddaughters.   Today, I told Ellie that she could have an Iced Chocolate if she went to the toilet before we went.   She complied - so off we went for out girls outing.   When they brought the drinks out - Ellie's Iced Chocolate was so big, it scared her.   She was so funny - looking the other way - pretending it wasn't there.   When we discussed getting her a smaller cup to make it easier, she decided that she really did want to drink it - and she was set.

Kahlei, on the other hand, had a baby cinno and managed to wear as much as she drank.

My granddaughters are funny girls.

While Mummy had a Lime Milkshake

Blogging isn't something that I've done successfully - so this could be hit and miss.   My daughter - Becky from beckyandjames and I have decided to participate in the 52 Weeks Project.  This is a big thing for me - I HATE photo's of myself.   I'm looking on it as an exercise in self acceptance.   This is my first photo, it is so hard to be happy with what you post when you're not happy with who you are.

This is my week 2 photo - I didn't realise my eyes were that green.   When I'm angry they actually go grey.  If you see me with grey eyes - run for cover!!!
